Welcome to the Ebner Financial Group family. We are a unique financial advisory firm that offers you service that is personal, private, and exclusive. As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Ebner Financial Group has many benefits to a traditional brokerage house: Fiduciary Responsibility Registered Investment Advisors have a fiduciary duty to their clients. This is a moral and a legal obligation to place your interests ahead of our own.
Greater Independence Since were not part of a brokerage firm with in-house products and services to sell, we are able to provide clients with objective guidance on which investments will best meet their needs.
Interests Aligned With Yours Our compensation is based on a percentage of assets under management, so our success is directly linked to that of our clients. No commissions mean our only interest is to provide the best financial solutions to you.
Focusing on complex planning needs means creating comprehensive wealth management strategies that are not your normal "buy and hold" strategies. Our models are updated every week and this allows us to take advantage of short-term market conditions while focusing on your portfolio's long-term growth.
A clear investment process, combined with years of experience, leads to good investment decisions. To that end, we have crafted a detailed system to ensure you receive high quality advice. Currently we service the entire United States and have regional offices in Columbus, OH / Raleigh, NC / Charleston, SC. |

Frequently Asked Questions |
 |
| Q. |
Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy? |
|
| Q. |
What are your qualifications? What is your education background? |
| |
I have a Bachelors Degree and 15 years of experience as a professional business owner. I have over ten years of market experience with five years as a financial advisor helping clients define and meet their financial goals. |
|
| Q. |
What is your approach to financial planning? |
| |
Holistic. I want to look at everything. But not only the assets, I want to find ways to pay off your debt faster, lower your marginal tax bracket, and ensure your net worth grows every year. |
|
| Q. |
What services do you offer? |
| |
All financial planning. Everything from asset management, retirement and education planning for children to gifting to charities, insurances and other protection planning. |
|
| Q. |
How many clients do you currently manage? |
|
| Q. |
Will you be the only person working with me? |
| |
Yes in terms of financial planning. If I feel you need more extensive estate planning advice I may refer you to an attorney. |
|
| Q. |
How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services? |
| |
Two ways. Asset management and financial planning. You would pay a percentage of your investable assets (between 0.25% - 2%) and an hourly fee to write your financial plan. |
|
| Q. |
If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something? |
| |
Yes. I may call or email you with a recommendation, but cannot take action until you give me permission. |
|
| Q. |
Do you offer any guaranteed results? |
| |
It is against FINRA regulation to guarantee investment results. The only promise I can make is that I will never be outworked. Its common for my clients to get an email from me at 11pm at night or 4am in the morning. All calls and emails are returned in a matter of hours, if not minutes and you will be 100% satisfied. |
|
| Q. |
How much risk should I be willing to take? |
| |
Depends on what your financial plan says. When I do seminars, people always come up to me and say "Hey I made 8% in my 401k last year, is that good?" My answer is always the same. If you needed 6% its great. If you needed 10% it is horrible. It is critical to know your target numbers for each goal. |
|
| Q. |
Have you ever been charged with any breaches? |
|
| Q. |
What carrier(s) do you represent? |
|
| Q. |
How long does it take to complete the application and approval process? |
| |
Application about 15 minutes. Underwriting takes between 3-6 weeks. |
|
| Q. |
What services do you provide? What are your specialties? |
| |
All. I am an expert in asset allocation, trading, retirement and education planning. |
|
| Q. |
Do you provide a free initial consultation? |
|
| Q. |
Why should I choose you as my financial advisor? |
| |
I provide great customer service and deliver results. If you want a very hard working advisor that will investment your money wisely, genuinely care about yourself and your family then I am the right fit for you. |
|
| Q. |
What are your management fees? |
|
| Q. |
Do you have a minimum requirement for number of employees or total investment value? |
|
| Q. |
What is your approach to Education Planning? |
| |
Look at the whole picture and work backwards. What does the parent want to provide? Public or private? Pay for it all? I want to structure your assets and help you fill out the FASFA/Financial aid form to maximize what the college will give your child in aid. |
|
| Q. |
How long does the process of setting up an Education Plan usually take? |
| |
1-2 meetings. About two hours. |
|
| Q. |
How many years of experience do you have? |
|
| Q. |

| |

|
| Q. |
How many Education Planning clients do you currently manage? |
|
| Q. |
Why should I work with you on setting up an Education Plan? |
| |
With over 10 years of experience, I have sent many of my client's children to college. I know what to look for and how to best structure you savings to maximize financial aid. I know how important flexibility is to a client in case their child gets a full scholarship or chooses not to attend college. |
|
