 |
| Q. |

| |

|
| Q. |
What are your qualifications? What is your education background? |
| |
Bill started his financial career at Merrill Lynch in 1990. Most of his years in the industry were with Fidelity Investments where he held various roles. In his role as a Private Access VP, Bill was responsible for over $3 Billion in assets. Mr. Hayes holds an MBA from the Sawyer School of Business and the designations, ACCREDITED WEALTH MANAGEMENT ADVISOR, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER |
|
| Q. |
What is your approach to financial planning? |
| |
The financial plan acts as a "living" document. It provides both the client and our firm with a blueprint of how we will manage the portfolio and what the expectations are for the potential asset growth. The financial plan is an essential ingredient when determining the overall value of our management effort in achieving client desires or aspirations. |
|
| Q. |
What services do you offer? |
| |
Personalized Investment Advice, Tailored Financial Plans, Tax Planning, Estate Tax Evaluation, College Planning, Retirement Income Planning |
|
| Q. |
How many clients do you currently manage? |
| |
Each CFP(R) professional has no more than 30 clients at any time. The intent is to limit the number of clients that each professional will manage and thereby give each client individualized attention. |
|
| Q. |
Will you be the only person working with me? |
| |
Not necessarily, at times our Chief Investment Advisor or other memeber of our organization may be in contact with you based upon your requests or needs. |
|
| Q. |
How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services? |
| |
We are a fee based service. Payment for our services is based upon the total assets that we manage, you may pay for the services in any number of ways. However, most clients wish to have the fee deducted from their accounts on a quarterly basis. |
|
| Q. |
If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something? |
| |
No, we ask for discretionary control of your account. This is usually accomplished through the use of a limited trading authorization. This means that while Charles Carroll may buy or sell securities in your account, Charles Carroll has no authorization nor ability to move assets from your account. |
|
| Q. |
Do you offer any guaranteed results? |
| |
No, the market by nature is volatile. We will manage your account based upon the findings and premise of the Financial Plan. Expectations of return are delineated in the financial plan, however, there is no guarantee of results. |
|
| Q. |
How much risk should I be willing to take? |
| |
The financial plan will help both of us to determine the most appropriate asset allocation for you. However, we believe that all investments have risk. Our responsibility as your asset manager is to monitor and understand the risk associated with all asset classes and investments placed in your account and is our responsibility to monitor these assets as part of the fee that we receive. |
