Summary:

To be considered for this designation, a professional must have at least five years experience as a rural appraiser and be a college graduate or have passed the GMAT. The applicant must also send in a completed rural appraisal report that demonstrates that they are in line with ASFRMA standards. The candidate must then take a series of courses involving the principles of rural appraisal. He or she must then take an examination and become a member of the ASFRMA.
