Certified Estate Planner (CEP)
Summary:
Candidates must complete classroom or online coursework, and then pass two examinations before obtaining this designation. Eight hours of continued education must be completed every two years. The designation means that the holder has a basic knowledge of estate planning, and does not have to be held by a financial advisor.
