Summary:

To be considered for this designation, a candidate must have five years of farm or ranch management experience, have a college degree or have passed the GMAT, and must be a current member of the ASFMRA. A farm management plan must be submitted to the ASFMRA in order to demonstrate that the candidate understands the essential aspects of farm management. A series of eight courses covering the business, tax and standards of farm management must be taken, and the accompanying test must be passed.
