Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS)
Summary:
Those earning this designation have studied methods to assist families in planning for the expenses associated with college. In order to qualify for the designation, a professional must first have one of the following: an additional financial designation, professional financial licensing, or professional experience deemed suitable. Three main areas are covered by the courses required: methods for college payment, saving for college and advanced funding strategies. Each module has an accompanying test that must be passed.
