Summary:

In order to qualify for this designation, a professional must complete a series of eight courses dealing with a variety of real estate investment concepts. As an alternative, a professional can hold the CCIM, CSM, PCAM or RPA designations and complete one course. The professional can also qualify if he or she has an undergraduate degree in real estate and completes one course. An examination must be passed that covers financial operations and asset management, human resources management, legal and risk management, marketing and leasing, and the designee must agree to uphold a code of ethics.
