About Harding Investments & Planning

In the most simple terms, helping people navigate life's financial complexities is what we do. This often means providing investment advice, but this investment advice has to reflect the unique challenges, opportunities and resources each investor is faced with. This is why we always make sure a thorough financial plan is completed before we give investment advice.

Services we provide include:
Comprehensive Financial Planning
Investment Management
Retirement Plan Consulting (commonly 401(k))

Faqs

  • Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy? Clients or our firm, may discontinue the advisor-client relationship at any time. If this happens, a full refund of any unearned fees is issued and we help ensure a smooth transition to whatever route the client has determined is a better fit.
  • What are your qualifications? What is your education background? My formal education is in Economics (B.S. Arizona State) and the comprehensive CFP curriculum offered by the American College for Financial Planning. When choosing a professional designation to pursue, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER mark was a great fit because of their strict Code of Ethics they require advisors to abide by, and the comprehensive approach to wealth management. The CFP curriculum covers the following: General Financial Planning Investments Retirement Planning Estate Planning Tax Planning Insurance
  • What is your approach to financial planning? I like to create an environment where clients reach out as new developments arise in their lives. At the beginning of the relationship I lay the foundation for a client's financial plan (I call this The Blueprint) and this gives us several initial tasks we need to complete. From there, we amend the Blueprint as life moves along (when kids graduate, retirement gets nearer, etc.) and adjust accordingly.
  • What services do you offer? We offer full-service financial planning, investment management, insurance strategies, retirement planning, business consultation, tax planning and optimization, education planning, and estate planning. For tax and estate planning, we work very closely with client's tax and legal professionals to help ensure thorough, comprehensive advice is given.
  • How many clients do you currently manage? about 50. Since opening our doors in 2016 we've been rapidly growing the number of individuals and families served. We hope to continue this success.

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificant

I grew up in a family of various professional advisors, most notably my father who was a trusted advisor for more than 30 years as a CPA. Thus, building a career in wealth management and launching this firm was a natural fit. My financial education started early and has never slowed down to this day.

My focus is primarily on portfolio management and comprehensive financial planning for high net worth or high earning individuals, but I consider myself a generalist and my analytical skill set has proven adaptable to many different types of client situations.

My education is in Economics (Bachelor of Science, Arizona State University) and the CFP® Curriculum (The American College) which includes courses in Investments, Estate Planning, Income and Tax Planning, Insurance, Retirement Planning, and Life-Cycle Financial Planning.

Aside from my work as a financial adviser, I enjoy teaching wealth management courses and have recently offered courses through UCLA’s Business Management and Legal programs.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, Mollie, exercising, playing the guitar, being a father to my chihuahua and traveling.

My Services

Portfolio Management

Our investment advice is not solely constricted to assets we manage. While we do have tremendous conviction in our investment philosophy and process, we understand that some assets (like retirement plans) can't be moved. What we care about most is getting clients to their objectives, and these outside assets can be a key factor, so we advise and report on outside assets at zero cost.

Financial Advice & Consulting

Life happens and things come up. We enjoy knowing that our clients feel comfortable reaching out to us anytime --as needed-- when financial circumstances arise. They don't receive a bill for our time or an increase in fees, everything is included into the asset management fee.
