Mr. Good is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at BGK Capital.
Prior to founding the firm, he served in senior investment positions at several of the largest asset managers in the world. Before relocating to Tucson, Mr. Good was a Portfolio Manager at Cascade Investment/BMGI (the investment office of Bill Gates and his foundation). In that role, he invested in Special Situation Debt, Private Equity, Global Bonds, and Real Estate. Prior to joining Cascade Investment/BMGI, he was a Vice President at Wellington Management (a Boston based firm with over $1 trillion under management). At Wellington, Mr. Good invested in Small and Mid Cap Stocks, Leveraged Loans, and High Yield Bonds. He began his investment career as an Analyst at Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Good has served in leadership positions at various for-profit and non-profit organizations, including on the board of directors of The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to founding the firm, he was the Director of Investment Research at an investment firm in Arizona with over $300 million in assets. In that role, he led a team of research analysts in evaluating global equity and fixed income securities. Prior to this, he was in Equity Research at JMP Securities (a San Francisco based investment bank). At JMP Securities, he facilitated investments in Small and Mid Cap Stocks, and Special Purpose Entities. Before beginning his investment career, Mr. Berens was sponsored by Bridgestone as a professional golfer.
He currently serves on the board of directors as Vice Chair for the El Rio Health Center in Tucson. Mr. Berens graduated from Emory University with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). He holds the Arizona Community Foundation's Endowment Building certificate and has been recognized with the Tucson 40 under 40 award.
David Kornberg, CFA®, CPA®

Mr. Kornberg is a Partner at BGK Capital.
Prior to founding the firm, he was the Director of Alternative Investments at an investment firm in Arizona with over $300 million in assets. In that role, he led a team of research analysts in evaluating Private Equity, Private Debt, Commodity, and Real Estate opportunities. Prior to this, he worked in the New York City offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their Assurance and Management Consulting practices. At PwC, Mr. Kornberg concentrated on serving the Banking and Financial Services industry.
He is a Certified Public Accountant® (CPA®), Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), and currently serves on the board of directors for Archaeology Southwest. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
