  • What are your qualifications? What is your education background? Jan has worked in the financial industry since 1979. As a Certified Financial Planner or CFP, Jan has taken extensive exams in financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement. Jan is registered as a Broker-Dealer Agent and Investment Advisory Rep and is able to buy/sell securities and is authorized to give investment advice to clients.
  • What is your approach to financial planning? I take a holistic approach to financial planning with the intention to determine first what a client's specific goals are and then determine what action items need to be implemented to enable the client to reach those goals. My primary goal is to education clients about the choices available and then discuss the pros and cons of various options.
  • What services do you offer? Almost all clients begin with a comprehensive financial plan although there are some exceptions. We have access to brokerage accounts, direct mutual fund investments, asset managed account or wrap accounts on several platforms and access to many insurance companies for insurance needs.
