When I was 2 years old, my parents began building their financial services business. Growing up and seeing first-hand the thousands of clients that have been able to achieve their financial goals and have peace of mind is what attracted me to this career. I achieved my first professional license in 2001 at the age of 18 to continue our family's legacy of making a positive difference in the lives of others.
I'm fortunate to have had the unique experience of working with many different generations of clients and their families. This gives me the foresight to know how someone's financial needs will change over time and to confidently navigate them through all stages of their financial journey; to plan not just for the immediate future, but for a lifetime.
I have an amazing daughter, Grace, who is my biggest motivation to be the best example of integrity, commitment, and service to others that I can be. Extensive experience in the healthcare industry has given me a unique perspective on understanding the complex needs individuals have as they move towards retirement and think about their finances, longevity, and how family will be involved in decisions for the future. In my family alone there have been three generations where the women outlived their spouses by more than a decade. And for those who were not actively involved in the finances, the assumption of that responsibility was overwhelming. Not only were they grieving the loss of a loved-one following a major illness, they also became fearful of losing their independence.
Watching families go through financial struggles when medical and aging issues arise is what drew me to a career in financial services. I was confident that through proper planning and financial education these challenges could be avoided. I am just as excited today as I was over 15 years ago when I entered this field and I'm even more committed to move you towards and maintain your financial independence throughout all your life events.
