About Michael Marchi

As your Financial Advisor, I will work to build our relationship of trust from day one. I am available to you when you need it. I meet with clients where it is most convenient or comfortable for them. As your trusted advisor, I work for you and offer a personal approach to working together. I enjoy the relationships with my clients and helping them prepare for life events, whether expected or unexpected. We will work together to grow and preserve assets, plan for your income needs in the present as well as in retirement, discuss estate and trust planning, tax strategies, legacy planning, and generational asset transfers. We look at the entire picture in our plans. Our strategy is based on your goals and needs. Once those are identified we together monitor those in our planning software that you have access to 24/7. Different strategies are utilized and adjusted over time to accomplish your goals. When I'm not supporting my clients, I enjoy spending time with family or playing golf with my friends.


About Marchi Wealth Management Group

Marchi Wealth Management was founded in 2013 when I joined The Investment Center, Inc. My career started over 13 years ago in 2009 with Edward Jones. It was right after the financial crisis of 2008 with the real estate bubble burst - quite an interesting time to get into financial services. After Edward Jones, I moved to a company out of San Diego called The Retirement Group. I helped build corporate relationships and their retirement plan business in the St. Louis area. I worked with companies such as Ralston Purina, Boeing and AT&T here in St. Louis. While this was exciting, I missed the one on one support of helping clients. I left the Retirement Group and started Marchi Wealth Management Group. I was back to doing what I loved, working with families and individuals through all aspects of their life changing events.

Financial Planning for Businesses

We work well with many small business owners. Being so transparent with our advice and our solutions we tend to work well with a businesses accountant and lawyers. We also have the ability in our planning software to share access of pertinent information to the accountants and lawyers if the business owner desires to do so.

Financial Planning for Individuals

We use a platform that we call a living and breathing financial plan. Once this is completed our clients can see their Net Worth and Investment change throughout the day. This is available to them 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our clients can see their Balance Sheets, cash flow analysis and many other reports with a push of a button. We are very transparent in everything we do and so is our financial plan.

Portfolio Management

There are a variety of portfolio management approaches. This is different for each client and is based on their goals. What is the purpose of the money? What is the time frame? What is the risk scores of our clients? As a fiduciary our approach differs from other advisors, financial planners and stock brokers. We educate our clients on where there money is going and how our strategies work. We will not invest a dime until our clients understand where their money is going and how our strategy will work for them. This is all inputted in a planning software and can be seen 24/7 by our clients. As the market changes their plan is updated to reflect the latest values of their investments. 401K Rollovers

Rolling your 401K assets into an IRA. When you leave your job, retire or if there is a change in ownership in your company. These are reasons that give you the opportunity to take control of your 401K. You have many options at this point. We input your information in our comparison tool. This will not only show you the pros and cons of all your options but this will also show you the cost of your current retirement plan versus the costs of your proposed options of rolling your 401K away from your current provider. The options you have available are: Rolling your 401K to a new or existing IRA, Rolling your 401K to a new or existing Roth IRA. Rolling your 401K to your new employers 401K. What ever you decide our comparison tool will help you see which option is best for you. This is different for each client and is based on their needs and wants when rolling over their 401K.

This is different for each client and is based on their goals. Very powerful if structured properly for tax efficient retirement planning and legacy planning.

Annuities

This is used for Lifetime income strategies and also be used for Asset Based Long-Term Care solutions. Long-Term Care is very expensive. This gives you and option that can solve that concern while still having access to your assets. It is not a use it or lose it solution or like buying car or home insurance. Which is a typical Long-Term care policy/solution. We have no professional obligation to and insurance company or annuity company.

Estate Planning & Trusts

This is different for each client and is based on their situation and is outsourced to partners that we trust and will set up for them in a very cost efficiently and timely manner.

Education Funding and Planning

Our educational planning is different than any others you will see in the marketplace. We base our plans on Child's academics and financials of family. Our Goal is to minimize out of pocket cost of the family, have the student graduate in "FOUR YEARS" (national average graduation rate for bachelor's degree is 6.2 years) and help the family set up a plan to cashflow college. Our plan takes away the stress of what a lot of families think, when planning college for their son or daughter. "HOW ARE WE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS." We help families identify colleges and universities that we know their child will get in and get paid to go. Saving in a 529 plan is not the solution nor a college plan! There are much better ways to save for college. Also for those who have student debt. I run across a lot of parents that are still paying off student debt or they have other children that have student debt. I am a Certified Student Loan Professional (CSLP ®). We can help there too!!! We can help set up a plan that will pay off those loans in the quickest manner, minimizing the interest you pay over time and in some situations set up a plan to have the loans completely forgiven.
