What are your qualifications? What is your education background?
I graduated from PSU Smeal College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2005.
After graduation, I began my career in financial services providing financial planning and investment portfolio management. I completed my Certified Financial Planner (TM) Practitioner (CFP®) designation in 2009. Shortly after, I completed two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation prior to concluding that I want a life, a wife, and a family.
I take on-going education seriously in this ever changing and complex profession. I do my job so my clients can live their best life. My 19 years of experience with different firms was been the greatest education I could have ever received culminating in working with the phenomenal and highly experienced team I work with today.
In this profession, I find knowledge, experience, and humility to be my greatest assets.

How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services?
We are fee only. The client has the option to pay a percentage of assets under our management or a flat fixed annual fee. The client will receive both financial planning and investment advice under ONE fee regardless of the path the client chooses.
|
If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something?
We typically manage client accounts on a "discretionary" basis. Meaning we do not require permission and/or discussion for every buy or sell transaction.
Client objectives and many other factors are discussed upfront and reviewed on an on-going basis.
We feel this is the preferred method from both the client's perspective and ours. We do accommodate new clients by discussing transitions more frequently if requested by the client.
|
Will you be the only person working with me?
I am my client's go-to for financial planning and investment discussions. Being available for my clients is important to me.
We have great client service professionals to help with forms, updates, administrative details, etc. and a portfolio management team to oversee day-to-day trading, transactions, monitoring, research and analysis.
All team members can be made available when needed.
|
Have you ever been charged with any breaches?
No.
|
What services do you provide? What are your specialties?
I provide investment management and financial planning services on a fee-only basis. I specialize in investment management, cash flow analysis, tax minimization over a lifetime, retirement planning and education planning. I know when other professionals need to be consulted for their expertise to help my clients.
|
What is your experience? How many clients do you currently manage?
I have been a financial advisor for over 19 years. I have dealt with all situations including pre-retirement (accumulation/transition), retirement (income/distribution), estate planning and multiple other client objectives. My client family is growing and has room for the right relationships.

What financial institution(s) do you represent?
Blue Bell Private Wealth Management, LLC is an SEC registered independent Registered Investment Advisor.
Being independent means that we are free to chose the best investments for our clients and offer additional services that meet our clients' needs. We answer directly to our clientele not a broker-dealer, mutual fund/insurance company, or corporate quarterly earnings.
We do not custody (hold) client assets. We chose to use Charles Schwab & Co. for custodial, brokerage, and other services to meet all our client's investment needs. We help the client establish their accounts with the custodian and are listed as their Investment Advisor with authorizations given on the accounts by the client.

What is your approach to financial planning?
Financial Planning is a process. The initial stage defines the relationship with the client and gathers all necessary data including goals and hard facts. I prefer to use technology to simplify this process.
From there, I review, organize, analyze and put the data into the context of the client's situation. I review projections, scenarios, and strategies with the client to help them make actionable decisions to improve their finances.
Financial planning with me is a collaborative process and it is my goal to empower my clients with my experience, knowledge and our conversations to help them organize, understand, and make positive decisions.
My strong belief is that financial planning is not a book or written document. It is on-going, flexible, and changes as the client's life changes or the external environment changes. This requires technology to help keep data up-to-date and has it's roots in advice, not sales.
|
What services do you offer?
I act as a Fiduciary to my clients. I start by understanding my clients financial goals and needs. Years of experience and knowledge drive client results. I build long-term relationships with my clients to help them through different phases of their life.

What is your approach to 401 K plan rollovers?
1.) Review and explain the client's options.
2.) Answer all client questions.
3.) Complete an analysis of leaving funds in the 401k or rolling over to an IRA.
4.) Discuss with the client so they can make an informed decision regarding the strategies, services, and on-going oversight they feel is best for them.
5.) From there we can help with whichever option the client chooses, i.e. leave it or roll it.
|
How long does the process of rolling over a 401K plan usually take?
This depends on the 401k provider, but generally a week or two. Our team works with all involved parties to ensure and communicate a smooth transfer.
|
