Our Mission - to continue building wealth through both offensive and defensive strategies as market conditions change.

We are offensive and defensive investors - we invest for growth when risks are low, or we invest to preserve capital when risks are high.

We believe that studying economic and financial indicators can lead to better investment decisions.  These efforts help us manage the degree of risk and reward that comes with different asset classes during different cyclical time periods.

We desire to find opportunities for growth during lower-risk periods (risk-on), and we also desire to protect client assets from deterioration during higher-risk periods (risk-off), as determined by our economic research.

Accordingly, we will buy and sell as we perceive the economic environment is changing. 

We may occasionally choose a third-party investment manager to work with us in managing certain portfolios if the client so chooses. We oversee the efforts of the third-party manager for compliance with our client's goals and objectives.

  • Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy? We maintain the industry standard customer satisfaction and refund policy. Advisory fees are generally directly debited from client accounts, or the client may choose to pay by check. Accounts initiated or terminated during a calendar quarter will be charged a pro-rated fee based on the amount of time remaining in the billing period. An account may be terminated with written notice at least 15 calendar days in advance. Since fees are paid in advance, upon the termination of an account, any unearned fee will be refunded to the client.

  • What is your approach to financial planning? Clients should set their goals and objectives for how much money they would like to accumulate and spend over their lifetime. The purpose of the financial plan is to see if the client is on-target to reach their objective. The financial planner and the client can work together to produce results seeking to bring the client up to his targets.
  • What services do you offer? Comprehensive Financial Planning - primarily in the areas of cash flow, debt repayment, investment returns, insurance, taxes, estate issues, workplace retirement accounts, and your company benefits package. We will be monitoring and discussing your plan progress throughout your tenure with us.

I've been interested in the stock market since the age of 12. I sought after and received, the industry's most prestigious designation of competency, the CFA Charter. I hold the CFP marks as well. I became convinced along the way that only a few knew how to beat the market. Warren Buffett says he knows 50 people who can do that. And that's both the opportunity and the problem for most investment clients - they are not in the right network to find these money managers.

That's why I got in this business and why I'm on this website - to help those who are behind on their monetary goals to formulate a plan that will allow them to catch up to where they should be.

My Services

Tax Planning & Mitigation

As part of analyzing your overall financial picture, we also look for ways to minimize your current and future income taxes. While we are able to prepare tax returns for our clients, we prefer not to do so. We prefer to provide information on the ways in which a client can go about minimizing their taxes. For example, we may make recommendations on which type of account(s) or specific investment(s) should be owned, based in part on their tax efficiency, with considerations that there will always be future changes to federal, state or local tax rates and tax laws that may impact your situation. NOTE: We always recommend that our clients consult with qualified tax and estate professionals before initiating any tax or estate strategies.  We may provide clients with contact information for accountants or attorneys with these specialties, if they wish to hire someone for such purposes. We will participate in meetings or phone calls between clients and their professionals, at client request.

Risk Management

We seek to grow our clients balances in favorable markets, and protect our clients principal in high-risk markets. If in our judgment the markets are risky and showing signs of a correction, we want to take protective actions to protect client assets from erosion.   We may go partially or fully to cash to preserve investor's capital and not give profits back to the market.  Or, we may take other actions to keep you protected and on the growth path to reach your goals.

Money Management

We provide clients with an analysis of credit card debts and we develop an optimized plan for early payoff.  We use up to 3 different models to determine the best solution for you.  We will conduct a review of your income and expenses to determine your current cash flow surplus or deficit.  We recommend ways to reduce bills that are costing you too much and provide advice on how any surplus should be deployed.   We may also recommend what we believe to be an appropriate cash reserve that should be considered for emergencies and other financial goals.  We will also recommend how these reserves will be invested in various types of accounts.

My Team

Robert has been an analyst, manager, and financial advisor for over 40 years, first for corporations and now for individuals. He founded Holman Wealth Management to help clients get to their desired lifestyle faster than with typical investment programs.
