In addition to earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas -- San Antonio, Scott holds one of the financial services top credentials, CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER, which greatly improves his ability to serve his client's financial needs. CFP practitioners have taken the extra step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP certification process that includes testing, ethical standards and continuing education.
Scott works extensively in assisting high net worth individuals, such as corporate executives, professionals, and retirees, manage their wealth while properly allocating their portfolios. He has created a business model that focuses around the cornerstones of a client's financial needs: estate attorney, CPA, and financial planner. These three separate professionals plot the course based on a clients goals and needs.
Scott is an avid fly-fisherman and licensed FAA pilot. He and his wife Marti have three children (Ashly, Kylee, and Colton). Colt was born at 22 weeks gestation (weighed 1lb 2oz) and has the distinction of being one of the youngest babies to survive at such a premature date in the country, he is now 11 years old and doing very well. Scott's outside activities also include being a member at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Helotes, coaching baseball, playing golf, an avid reader and snow-skiing.
