Ken Stanley, a Vice President at The Burney Company and President of Burney Investment Services, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served for 24 and one-half years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Colonel. During his military career Ken Stanley served as a Navigator, Fighter Pilot (graduating first in his pilot training class) and Staff Officer. Eight of his military years were served overseas in the Far East (F-105 fighter pilot and HQ 7AF), Belgium (EXO to the DCPO, SHAPE), Norway (Assistant Air Attaché), and Austria (MBFR delegation).
Ken has been involved in the stock market throughout his adult life and has made a number of guest appearances on Washington Business Radio. He is an active manager who takes great satisfaction in the application of Burney discipline in assisting individuals, trusts and retirement plans achieve their investment goals.
Ken received his Masters Degree from George Washington University and holds an Airline Transport Pilot Rating. He enjoys watching sports, travel, flying, tennis, skiing, swimming and sailing.
