Edward A. McDonough specializes in helping individuals accumulate and preserve wealth. He has been working with clients and investments since 1987.

Ed graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked as a Petroleum Field Engineer in Texas for Schlumberger Well Services before deciding to return to Lehigh for his Masters in Business Administration. Ed completed his MBA in Finance and landed a job selling computer hardware and software for IBM to Dupont, Inc. in Wilmington Delaware. After three exciting years at IBM, Ed decided to start an investment career with Smith Barney in Orlando Florida. Ed then completed his Certified Financial Planning licensing and grew his Financial planning business diligently for the next 12 years. In 1999, Ed sought independence and established McDonough Capital Management as a Registered Investment Adviser in downtown Orlando and affiliated with Raymond James.

Ed's goal is to establish, execute and maintain a tailored long-term financial investment plan for each client. Ed brings both experience and a commitment to client service. He combines a growth and income oriented philosophy with a sensitivity to risk tolerance and respect for preservation of capital and tax efficiency.

Ed resides in Southwest Orlando nearby to his two children, Shannon and Evan. Ed is an avid golfer and enjoys basketball, boating, and other outdoor recreational activities with the family.

Shannon McDonough
Associate Wealth Advisor, CFP^®
Shannon McDonough, MBA, is primarily responsible for client day to day service, which includes being available to answer questions involving anything financial. She assists the Principal in financial planning and portfolio management of all account types in addition to performing client account reviews. She is in charge of data gathering and internal portfolio analysis.

Prior to joining the McDonough Capital Team, Shannon worked at a software company as both an Analyst and as a Project Manager. Shannon graduated from the Crummer Graduate School of Business MBA program in 2019. Prior to her MBA she attended Rollin's College, earning a degree in both Economics and Spanish, all while earning a 4 year starting MVP position on the volleyball team. Shannon maintains her SIE, Series 65, Series 7, Series 63, and Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. She is also a notary public for the state of Florida. She resides in the Winter Park area with our Chief Comfort Officer dog Skittles.

Camie Nguyen
Investment Advisor/Senior Operating Officer
Camie Nguyen has over 24 years of investment, research, compliance, accounting, and financial experience. As Investment Advisor and Senior Operating Officer, Camie has both portfolio management responsibilities as well as compliance team lead responsibilities. She oversees and manages McDonough Capital Management's compliance and handles all operations, training, trading, billing, risk management, annuities and insurance businesses related matters. She ensures that the firm and all our employees are in adherence with internal procedures and policies meeting states and SEC standards.

Daily, Camie provides portfolio management and technical support to the Principal. This includes maintaining proper account allocation, model portfolios creation, running specialized reports, leads portfolio trading and compliance matters. Prior to joining the McDonough Capital Management Team in May 2006, Camie previously held the position of a Portfolio Manager, Research Analyst, and Compliance Associate at an independent SEC Registered Investment firm in Portland, Oregon for 9 years. She graduated from Portland State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance. In addition to holding the Series 65 license, Camie obtained the Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. Camie resides in Southwest Orlando nearby with her two children, Tommy and Tony. She enjoys gardening, planting exotic fruits trees, badminton, sewing, and other outdoor recreational activities with the family.
