Additional Details on Charges:   I will make sure you understand any investments discussed and the fees associated. I will also explain the difference between investment advisory accounts and commissioned accounts helping you decide which is best for you. Many of my clients have a combination of both types of accounts.

Investment Advisory fees are determined by the amount of assets under management and the type of investment advisory account used. I have many options to choose from. Most of my investment advisory accounts start at an annual fee of 1.25% and my financial plans are free to my clients. I want everyone to have a financial plan because I believe it is the foundation on which investment decisions should be made.

I also have a wide variety of options in commissioned accounts. Each commissioned investment has it's own fee and they very from one investment to the next.

Financial Planning for Businesses

I work with businesses to make sure they are making financially sound decisions regarding their business. I will review your insurance needs to make sure you have adequate coverage and discuss risk being taken if you are under insured. I also can manage SIMPLE and SEP IRAs as well as 401Ks. I have several options for establishing employer sponsored retirement plans. I diligently work with you to choose the best plan for your business. Our 401K options come with varying degrees of management. I help all employees open their retirement accounts and will provide guidance on their individual needs if they want.

Financial Planning for Individuals

I use a comprehensive financial planning software to create your unique plan. My belief is that financial planning is ongoing and the plan needs to be reviewed on a regular basis. Periodic reviews help identify changes that may need to be made as a result of something that has changed in your life such as job change, death of a loved one, birth or adoption of a child or change in you or a family member's health. Without periodic reviews, your plan becomes outdated and you may no longer be on track for reaching your retirement goals. My commitment to you is to make sure we have regular reviews and make any necessary adjustments that may be needed as a result of your review. Lastly, my financial plans are free to my clients.

Insurance Planning

Many people are under insured. Insurance planning isn't only about life insurance but making sure you have the correct life insurance for your needs and risk tolerance. Depending on your financial situation, a long term care policy may be needed to help protect your assets from a Medicaid spenddown. There are many different types of policies and I will work to help you choose the coverage that best meets your needs and the type of care you would like to have if you experience a long term care event. Disability insurance is another area that many business owners neglect to consider. I will work with you to determine coverage you may need.

Annuities

Some annuities are very simple and easy to understand while others quite complex and more difficult to comprehend. I work with my clients to first determine if an annuity would be a good fit for them. If an annuity is a viable option, I work to find the annuity that best fits their needs. I work hard to make sure my clients understand how an annuity completes their portfolio and how it works. Annuities are included in my regular reviews because once you are invested in an annuity, it still requires ongoing management.

Estate Planning & Trusts

Transfer of assets to beneficiaries and charities can become complicated. I will work hard to create a plan that will transfer assets to your beneficiaries and charities in the most efficient way possible. I am happy to work with your attorney as needed.

Education Funding and Planning

I provide guidance on the best way to plan for education costs. I take time to explain different options available and provide guidance on choosing the correct investment strategy to meet these needs.

How do you charge for your services?

I am paid for investment advisory fees by charging a fee for the service. This is a percentage of your account value. For commissioned products, I receive a portion of the commission charged. My financial planning process is free to all my clients. I want everyone to have a financial plan because I believe it is the foundation on which investment and planning choices should be based on.

I started my career as an administrative assistant for a financial advisor learning various strategies. I became licensed in August 2016 and began working as a financial advisor working inside a bank. In February of 2022, I started my own financial planning business and partnered with LPL Financial, the largest brokerage in the United States as reported by Financial Planning magazine, June 1996-2021. This partnership gives me access to a very large investment selection which I believe better equips me to assist you with your financial planning and investment needs.
