Brian J. Donley is a Certified Financial Planner " practitioner with many years of experience in the financial services industry and a founding partner of Summit Wealth Advisors. Brian and his partner, Doug Richey, created Summit Wealth Advisors to focus on client-advisor relationships. They are committed to guiding their clients to reach the summit of their financial goals, by understanding their dreams and deciding together on a path to get there. Brians interest in financial planning began at an early age when his parents instilled in him the benefits of hard work and saving money. His first job at a bank introduced him to the financial world and his love of helping people. This led Brian to Purdue University, where he graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Financial Management. While not working, Brian enjoys the outdoors of Western Pennsylvania and Upstate South Carolina and winter sports in the mountains of Colorado. As an Eagle Scout, he attended outings with his sons (who are both Eagles) through the Boy Scouts of America. He also remains connected with Purdue University as the president of the local alumni chapter. Brian and his wife, Rachel, live in Pittsburgh, PA. They have two children, Griffin and Liam. Both attend Clemson University.
