Business Description |
We are a wealth and money management firm. We are a Registered Investment Advisor, which is a legal definition under the security laws of the USA. An RIA is legally bound to put their clients interests first. This is commonly called a fiduciary obligation and is not required of stock brokers or insurance agents.
We apply investment management techniques widely followed by large institutional investors, such as university endownments, pension funds, trust companies, and the like. We manage assets in the context of a total portfolio, because how an asset performs in conjunction with other assets is critical in maximizing returns and controlling risk. We use a combination of quantitative and qualitative security selection tools. The firms principals have gradiuate degrees in business (MBA) and Economics from the University of Chicago, are licensed securities professionals (series 7, 63).
We have been in business since 1992. Senior principals have raised and / or managed over $2 billion in debt and equity instruments. |
