  • What are your qualifications? What is your education background?
    I am a certified financial planner and tax/estate planning attorney. I have a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, a Law degree from American University and a Masters in taxation from Pace University.
  • What is your approach to financial planning?
    Your financial needs and goals dictate the financial planning process. Typically, we gather your financial information, tax status, family make-up and create a financial plan that is particular to you. Then, we build and asset allocation and investment strategy that meets with your risk tolerance and financial plans. We use a comprehensive approach to ensure that you are financially protected.
  • What services do you offer?
    Our wealth management services include investment management, retirement planning, cash flow management, estate planning, income tax planning and risk management.
  • How many clients do you currently manage?
    We work with over 100 families.
  • Will you be the only person working with me?
    We use a team approach for each client; however, you will meet with me and I will be the primary person handling your accounts.
  • How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services?
    We do not sell products. We do not make any commissions. We are completely objective, fee-only advisors. Our fee is calculated calendar quarterly as a percentage against the total value of your accounts managed by Piermont. Our annual average fee is less than 1%.

    Our clients provide us discretion to manage their accounts.
