Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
Summary:
To qualify for this designation a candidate must pass a series of rigorous examinations testing his or her knowledge of the actuarial field. A total of seven exams must be passed, including subjects such as statistics and actuarial modeling. Associates are not voting members of the Casualty Actuarial Society. The designee is also a member of the Society of Actuaries and is allowed to vote in elections.
