Our Team

Bryan Rentschler is a financial advisor with Savant, working primarily with clients approaching or recently entering retirement from the firm's Westlake Village, California, office. He focuses on helping individuals and families grow, protect, and pass on their wealth through thoughtful planning and clear, data-driven decision-making. He began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.
Bryan has worked as a financial advisor since 2018 and has built a foundation in comprehensive financial planning and long-term client relationships. His work centers on helping clients understand whether their current financial strategy aligns with their retirement goals and what steps can help close any gaps.
He regularly guides clients through complex questions, including when to claim Social Security, whether Roth conversions can help reduce lifetime tax exposure, how to plan for potential long-term care costs, and how to evaluate trade-offs between paying down debt and investing. He also helps clients assess real-world decisions, such as whether selling a rental property and reinvesting the proceeds supports their long-term plan or whether keeping the property makes more sense.
Bryan earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Azusa Pacific University in California. He and his wife remain active in their church and participate in a local men's Bible study. They enjoy attending Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Kings games, hosting board game nights with friends, and spending time with their three cats.

Stewart "Stew" Erickson is a client discovery advisor focused on financial services and business development, working out of our Westlake Village, California, office. Stew began working at Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm.
Stew has more than 20 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience, with a career rooted in capitalization, business development, and executive-level strategy. Before entering the financial services industry in 2022, he served as chief executive officer of The Agricultural Gas Company and previously as president of SEEC Inc., where he built management teams, guided early-stage growth, and supported investor engagement. His work frequently centered on supporting C-suite leaders, advancing new technology initiatives, and connecting qualified investors and family offices with private company opportunities. He also uses a disciplined, multi-channel approach to cold calling and lead development within financial services.
Among his notable accomplishments, Stew helped capitalize and launch two companies and collaborated with Exencial leadership to develop a proof-of-concept marketing-to-sales program designed to support client acquisition efforts. Earlier in his life, he served as a member of the elite El Cariso Hotshots with the U.S. Forest Service in Southern California, an experience that shaped his leadership style and resilience.
Stew holds a bachelor's degree in forestry with a concentration in resource economics from the University of Montana. He remains active in his community through Mission Church, Rotary International, and the Ventura Tennis Association.
A devoted father and grandfather, Stew enjoys boogie boarding in the Pacific Ocean, playing tennis and cribbage, following the Los Angeles Dodgers, and spending time outdoors with his yellow Labrador retriever, Leia. He maintains a whole-food, plant-based diet, prioritizes staying active, and is a skilled woodsman and chainsaw operator who values time spent working and learning in natural environments.
