Our work spans financial planning, investment management, tax strategies, insurance planning (including long-term care), estate planning, and wealth transfer, plus personal coaching when markets or life changes create uncertainty.
Clients value us most for how we work day-to-day:
--We explain everything. Teaching is part of our process. If you don't know, we want you to ask, and we'll translate complexity into clear, practical choices.
--We handle the details, big and small. From helping you open and organize accounts to coordinating the moving pieces across your financial life, we aim to make the process easier and less stressful.
--We're available for real-life decisions. Clients call us not only about planning and investing. They reach out before buying a car, evaluating a big expense, or visiting an assisted-living community. They want a trusted sounding board who understands their whole picture.
--We quarterback your professional team. We actively collaborate with your CPA, estate planning attorney, and other specialists. Clients often ask us to join meetings and help translate the implications into next steps.
Our clients include many single women, who appreciate our straightforward, respectful approach and our willingness to guide them through every step until they feel fully understood and in control.
Our Team

Matt created Tableaux Wealth with this mission: to help clients take control of their financial lives. Trained in both law and finance, he brings a dual perspective to his role in translating complicated topics into easy-to-understand advice. He has always fostered strong relationships, especially when it comes to helping clients bring all the pieces of their financial lives together.
A man of many interests, Matt received a B.A. in East Asian Studies and a B.S. in Economics from George Washington University and a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law. Before creating Tableaux Wealth, he was a Senior Vice-President at RBC Wealth Management (Great Barrington and Pittsfield, MA). Matt is a CFP ® professional and member of the Financial Planning Association.
Matt lives in Stockbridge, MA, with his wife, Catherine, and their two daughters, Leah and Zoe. He is always on the move--running, hiking and biking on his Peloton. A tireless seeker of information, Matt is an avid consumer of podcasts and audiobooks (mostly in the middle of the night) and enjoys reading client-penned books.

Luke joined Tableaux Wealth as Director of Financial Planning in 2024 after serving in that role for many years at a Great Barrington-based registered investment advisor. Luke has been a Certified Financial Planner ® professional since 2019 and is focused on continuing to expand the financial planning skills and expertise at the firm.
Luke brings a passion for clearly communicating difficult financial topics to help clients make informed decisions. His ability to bring together investment, tax, estate, and personal goals into one picture empowers clients to navigate uncertainty with confidence.
Luke lives in Great Barrington with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys biking, running, and hiking, and frequently competes in the local Josh Billings triathlon.
Luke has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and an MBA from Boston College, where he received the Wall Street Journal award for the top finance student.

I provide comprehensive wealth management for individuals, couples, and families, helping clients build, protect, and enjoy their wealth with confidence and purpose. With my Tableaux Wealth colleagues, I deliver integrated financial planning and investment management services on a team that includes an experienced CFP ® professional and responsive support staff.
Before joining Tableaux Wealth I ran an investment management marketing agency for 20 years, and prior to that held senior marketing roles at Bankers Trust Company and Citigroup Asset Management in New York City. I've been recognized by Pensions & Investments and the Plan Sponsor Council of America for my work in retirement plan education.
My wife and I live in Sarasota, where we raised our two sons. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, fishing, and writing about science and technology. I have a BA in English from The College of William & Mary.

Following a decade as a practicing attorney in New York City and the Berkshires, Catherine stepped away from the law in 2020, a change which gave her more time with her young children and the opportunity to support the family business, Tableaux Wealth. As a Compliance Associate, Catherine handles much of Tableaux's day-to-day compliance demands along with a myriad of other small business roles--from office supplies to long-term strategic planning.
A native of Berkshire County, Catherine returned to the area in 2012 with now-husband, Matt, where she relishes equally the outdoors and accessibility to the arts. In her (limited) free time, and when not hiking or biking, Catherine serves on the boards of the Stockbridge Land Trust and the Stockbridge Zoning Board of Appeals and dances with the Olga Dunn Dance Company.
Catherine received a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law.

Efficiency is Shelley's middle name. She thrives on staying organized and helping others do the same--especially when it comes to meeting client needs with accuracy and care. With a strong background in administration, business operations, accounting, and budgeting, Shelley brings a detail-oriented approach to every aspect of her work, all while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Before joining Tableaux, Shelley spent eight years as Operations Manager at the Literacy Network of South Berkshire, where she played a key role in streamlining systems and supporting a mission-driven team. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State University.
Based in the Berkshires with her husband and son, Shelley enjoys hiking, attending local concerts, and visiting the area's many farmers markets. She's also a dedicated Boston Celtics fan and an enthusiastic supporter of her son's sports teams.

Gary joined Tableaux Wealth as a Senior Portfolio Manager in January 2025 after more than 25 years leading Martinelli Portfolio Management, Inc. in Springfield, MA, where he focused on growing client investments through fundamental research and securities analysis.
An active value investor, Gary has a history of seeking long-term asset performance by acquiring securities of financially strong companies whose market prices are significantly below conservative estimates of their intrinsic value. He thoughtfully considers each client's unique circumstances in light of existing macro-economic conditions when building client portfolios.
For more than fifty years, Gary has also practiced as a successful business lawyer, specializing in securities law, investment management law, corporate law and commercial real estate.
He lives in Longmeadow, MA with his wife, Linda, and enjoys time with his four children and twelve grandchildren, cheering on the Liverpool Football Club, playing golf, and strumming his guitar.
