Our Team

Tanya Walliser has been a member of the Condor Capital team since June 2008 after graduating from The University of Maryland in College Park, MD, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Spanish Language. While Tanya has held several positions at Condor over the years, she currently spends her time working with clients to achieve their goals and objectives in all areas of their financial life. She is particularly versed in estate planning for high net worth families and has worked with clients, attorneys, and accountants to settle many complex estates. Tanya is Series 65 certified and earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in January 2014.
Tanya is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), which allows her access to resources that provide professional development opportunities and the ability continue growing her skillset to benefit Condor's clients. Additionally, Tanya is also a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor®, which is the leading title to identify professional, ethical, fee-only financial advisors.
When she is not in the office, Tanya enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael (Condor's own President) and her daughters, Avery and Dylan. Running around behind her small children keeps her pretty busy, but Tanya enjoys the daily adventures with her family.

Jeanette started working at Condor as an intern back in 2005 while attending Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, where she attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology from Rutgers College. She decided to stay with Condor full time after graduation.
Jeanette went on to receive her Series 65 certification shortly after graduating. She then began attending client meetings and realized that she really wanted to help clients with more than just their investments, so she attained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2015.
After noticing unique financial difficulties in families that have a family member with special needs, she wanted to learn more about how to help with their financial planning needs and earned her Chartered Special Needs Consultant™ designation in 2017. Additionally, in 2020, Jeanette went on to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. Having gone through a divorce herself, she knows the emotional and financial toll it can have on someone's life and wanted to be a better resource to help those going through it stay on their feet. She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) in order to network with those in the industry and keep up to date on any new technologies and best practices.

Jake became a member of Condor in December of 2016 after spending time in advisor-supportive roles at a financial services firm in his home state of Pennsylvania. Prior to Condor, Jake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Susquehanna University, where he thoroughly enjoyed competing on the swimming team (no breaststroke!), as well as the culturally enriching experiences during his study abroad program in London, England.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Condor, Jake is involved in helping clients navigate various financial planning matters and performing research on the current and prospective holdings for Condor's investment strategies. Jake is particularly interested in searching for attractive companies to invest in within the information technology and communication services sectors so that Condor's clients can participate in the growth opportunities garnered from the success of new and innovative technologies. In addition, Jake holds a Series 65 certification, which gives him the ability to provide investment advice to clients, along with trading and rebalancing client accounts to ensure they are well-positioned for the long term.
While away from Condor, Jake and his wife take pleasure in exploring the lively Red Bank area, as well as keeping up with the continued success of their favorite sports team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Additionally, as self-described beer aficionados, they can often be found traveling around to the multitude of excellent craft brewers that have been popping up in the Tri-State area.

Michael joined the Condor Capital team in February of 2022. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Finance. While at Syracuse, Michael was a goaltender for the Men's Ice Hockey team. Michael was drawn to Condor Capital because of its fee-only, fiduciary business model and commitment to its clients. Michael currently holds Series 66 and Series 7 certifications.
As a Financial Advisor, Michael assists the Financial Advisory team in meeting preparation and creating retirement projections for clients, ensuring they are on track to meet their financial goals.
Outside of the office, Michael and his fiancé enjoy exploring different restaurants and bars in their vibrant town of Montclair, NJ. Michael is also a devoted fan of Formula 1 racing and regularly watches the weekend races with his close friends.

Tim Moran is a Financial Advisor at Condor Capital. Before joining Condor, Tim graduated both from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Rutgers School of Law - Camden with his Juris Doctorate. Tim has been in the industry for 10 years, specializing in financial planning for his clients. Additionally, Tim holds a CFP Designation and Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
Tim's true passion is helping his clients reach whatever their financial goals are for both themselves and their families. Through comprehensive financial planning and investment management with the Condor team, Tim's goal is to try to simplify the complexities of the financial world to help his clients pursue their own true passions and provide for themselves and their families for many years to come.
Outside of the office, Tim loves spending time with family, which includes his wife Ashley and his twin boys Finnegan and Gavin. You'll often find him going on adventures with the kids, golfing, reading books, and watching movies. Finally, every Fall, you'll find Tim cheering on Rutgers Football, where he and his family have had season tickets for over 30 years.

Ken Schapiro founded Condor Capital in 1988 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. At the time of its founding, Ken wanted to fill a hole in the financial services industry—that of a fee-only advisor. Because of Ken's desire to provide clients with low fees, ready access to performance data, and a trustworthy source of financial advice, Condor Capital has been a fiduciary since its inception. Ken takes pride in Condor's commitment to its clients and their best interests.
As a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, Ken manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, pension plans, and corporations. Ken and Condor Capital have been named to Barron's Top 1200 Financial Advisors each year since 2017. Ken is a past President of the Counsel of Independent Financial Advisors (CIFA), a nationally recognized association of independent investment advisors. Ken was also previously named one of the 40 under 40 by NJbiz magazine. He is a current member of TIGER 21, a peer-to-peer networking group of wealth creators.
Outside of the office, Ken spends his time playing tennis and skiing. He particularly enjoys heli-skiing, where skiers are brought to remote locations to ski on unmarked trails. He's been married to his wife, Lisa, for 30 years, and has two adult children, Samantha and Zachary. While he is the boss at work, the boss at home is the family dog, Chaos.

Also, to protect yourself and your investments against the financial impact of unexpected events, you may want to consider getting insurance.
