At its core, Oceanic Capital Management emphasizes disciplined portfolio construction grounded in diversified asset allocation. Rather than relying on short-term stock picking or market timing, the firm develops customized investment strategies designed to balance risk and return over time. These strategies include traditional and alternative assets, periodic rebalancing to maintain target allocations, and ongoing monitoring to adapt to changing market and life circumstances.
As a fiduciary, the firm is committed to putting clients' interests first. This means transparent advice, objective decision-making, and avoidance of arrangements that could compromise advice—such as soft-dollar research agreements—helping clients feel confident that recommendations are aligned with their best interests.
Services at Oceanic Capital Management go beyond investment management to encompass holistic financial planning. The firm helps clients with retirement planning, 401(k) rollovers, pre- and post-retirement strategies, tax-efficient planning, Social Security timing, and divorce financial planning. Whether a client is building wealth, transitioning into retirement, or seeking to transfer assets across generations, the firm provides thoughtful guidance and structured planning to support those goals.
With years of experience in the industry, Oceanic Capital Management blends professional expertise with personalized service, forming long-term relationships that support clients through every stage of their financial journeys. The firm's approach is centered on clarity, integrity, and strategic planning to help clients pursue financial security and peace of mind.

Developing an integrated plan and investment strategy is only the first step towards your financial success. The real value comes in having a team of experienced professionals assist you along the way to execute strategy and respond to your changing circumstances and objectives.
We believe that consistency and stability are the cornerstones of success. A well-diversified portfolio, well thought-out strategy, and our constant monitoring and diligence will provide long-term rewards.
+Listen - Our understanding your unique goals and objectives is paramount for your success. We want to learn your past investment experiences, present financial situation, and future financial expectations.
+Planning - Once we've carefully listened and gathered all your financial information and objectives, we begin developing a comprehensive plan that evaluates and provides recommendations about your investments, insurance, and estate.
+Implement - After we review the planning recommendations with you, we begin to effect the changes in your investment portfolio and coordinate with your other advisors, such as an estate attorney or accountant.
+Manage, Monitor & Update - As the steward of your investments we remain focused on watching over and taking care of your assets so you can feel confident you are progressing steadily towards your goals. Review meetings are typically conducted semi-annually or more often if desired and of course we are always available by phone or email.
+Evaluate - The first step is understanding the objectives for your investments. We distinguish between short- and long-term goals and the need for growth, income or both.
+Investment Policy - An investment policy is a way to formalize understanding and agreement as to why, when and how investments will be managed on your behalf.
+Investment Portfolio - Based on the specifics of each client's situation, we provide exposure to an appropriate mix of traditional and non-traditional assets. We also seek to provide diversification within each asset class across sectors, industries, and countries.
+Investment Management - Once implemented, we carefully monitor your portfolio by evaluating financial, economic and political risk factors. We will periodically re-balance your portfolio back to the originally desired allocation.
+Reporting & Measurement - Periodic reviews of your objectives are critical to achieving investment success. We provide quarterly reports that detail the performance of your portfolio. You also receive monthly account and transaction statements from the independent custodian holding your accounts.
From there, I explain the available rollover choices—such as moving assets to an IRA, a new employer's plan, or maintaining them in the current plan—so clients understand the benefits and trade-offs of each option. If a rollover is appropriate, I manage the process carefully to help avoid unnecessary taxes, penalties, or administrative errors.
Once assets are rolled over, I help design an investment strategy tailored to the client's time horizon, risk tolerance, and retirement objectives. This often includes improving diversification, adjusting asset allocation, and incorporating tax-efficient strategies that may not have been available within the original 401(k).
Throughout the process, I focus on education and transparency, ensuring clients feel confident in their decisions and understand how their retirement savings fit into their broader financial plan. My goal is to simplify what can be a complex transition and turn a 401(k) rollover into a strategic step toward long-term financial security.
I work closely with individuals, families, and business owners to design and manage portfolios aligned with their personal and financial goals, while remaining disciplined through changing market conditions. Beyond investment management, I help coordinate broader wealth planning needs, including retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate considerations, and intergenerational planning, often collaborating with clients' attorneys and tax professionals.
At Oceanic Capital Management, independence and fiduciary responsibility are central to how we operate. Every recommendation I make is guided by what is in the client's best interest, supported by rigorous analysis, transparent communication, and ongoing monitoring.
My role is not just to manage assets, but to serve as a long-term partner—helping clients make informed decisions, navigate complexity, and stay focused on what matters most to them financially and personally.
