Coordinating complex financial lives with clarity and accountability
About Justin Hall
Most of the people I work with aren't looking for more information—they're looking for clarity.

At a certain point, financial decisions become more complex and interconnected. That complexity often shows up around specific moments: a business sale, equity compensation starting to accumulate, a significant increase in income, or an inheritance. In those situations, the challenge is usually not access to advice, but understanding how each decision impacts the rest of the financial picture.

That's where I focus my work.

I'm a CFP® professional and Managing Partner of Good Life Private Wealth, a fee-only, fiduciary firm based in Fort Worth. I work primarily with business owners, corporate executives, and high-income professionals who want a more coordinated approach to their financial decisions.

Many of the individuals and families I work with already have trusted professionals in place—a CPA, an estate attorney, or other advisors. My role is to help ensure those relationships are aligned and working together as part of a cohesive strategy. That includes evaluating decisions across investments, tax considerations, estate planning, and risk management, with an emphasis on how those pieces interact over time.

Rather than approaching each decision in isolation, I help clients think through trade-offs, model potential outcomes, and make decisions with the full picture in view. The goal is not to react to complexity, but to bring structure and clarity to it.

My background includes serving as Vice President of Operations for one of my family's businesses, where I oversaw more than 50 employees. That experience continues to shape how I think about leadership, business ownership, and the financial decisions that extend beyond a portfolio.

Good Life Private Wealth operates as a fee-only firm, meaning we are compensated directly by our clients and do not receive commissions or third-party compensation. We are held to a fiduciary standard, which requires that every recommendation be made in the client's best interest.

On a personal level, I'm a husband and a father of two young kids. That perspective influences how I think about planning—most financial decisions are ultimately about supporting the people and priorities that matter most.

If you're at a point where your financial life feels more complex than coordinated, it may be worth having a conversation.
