Roshan serves as a wealth advisor and partner at Arete Wealth Management. He joined Arete in 2008 and became the firm's first advisor in the position of retirement planning specialist, where he is truly in his element helping clients take control of their financial future.
Roshan has earned both a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designations, awarded by the College for Financial Planning.
Roshan produces an informative podcast called The Retirement Lifestyle Show with Arete Wealth Advisors Erik Olson and Adrian Nicholson. The show explores a variety of retirement matters relevant to listeners navigating the path to the ideal retirement.
Roshan resides in Oak Hill, Virginia with his wife and three children. He spends most of this free time playing with his children and escorting them to various activities. He also makes time to work out and he enjoys listening to music in his downtime.

Roshan began his financial career in 1997 as an intern with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Washington, D.C. In 2000 he joined Ameriprise Financial Services as a financial advisor and manager for American Express. It was here that Roshan began building a reputation as an accomplished fiduciary consultant and trust personal financial advisor.|

Work with clients to help them establish their vision for retirement, prior to retirement.
Use strategies by employing individual stocks, Modified Modern Portfolio Theory, Momentum and Technical theories based on the client's goals.
For those still employed, review current employer sponsored plans to ensure client is taking full advantage of employee benefits.
Advise client regarding distributions from IRA's and qualified plans with the goal of minimizing tax liabilities.
Will do searches for annuities when deemed appropriate for the client's portfolio.

Assist clients in establishing funding for dependents to achieve defined educational goals.
Work with clients to ensure expected returns while managing risks.
