John serves as a lead advisor at Fortis, specializing in customized wealth planning for clients. In addition to portfolio management and cash flow planning, John helps clients navigate complex topics such as concentrated stock, estate planning, tax, real estate, liquidity events and other unique situations.
Prior to joining Fortis, John served as a Wealth Strategy Associate with UBS Private Wealth Management where he first earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Designation and worked with the groups high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.
John graduated Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University. Outside of the office, John enjoys golf, fitness, travel and spending time with his wife and family.

Laurence delivers personalized investment strategies tailored to clients goals, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs. Collaborating with his team, he manages investments, retirement planning, tax optimization, and estate planning, while providing asset performance insights and education for multi-generational families. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he also holds the Series 66 FINRA registration.
Before joining Fortis, Laurence advised high-net-worth families at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management building out and implementing personalized financial plans to preserve and grow their wealth.
He currently resides in Seattle with his Australian Shepherds, River and Dakota. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University with an economics degree and remains a fervent WSU supporter. In his free time, he enjoys golf, travel, boating, and cheering for the Seahawks, Mariners, and Kraken.

Connor is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. At Fortis, he specializes in financial planning and investment management, providing tailored strategies to meet each client's unique needs.
Prior to joining Fortis, Connor spent six years as an Advisor at Moss Adams in their Private Clients Advisory group. There he was a key member of the Executive National Practice specializing in working with executives, leveraging his expertise in equity compensation, stock options, and comprehensive financial planning to address their unique and complex financial needs.
Outside of work, you can find Connor on the golf course, at the gym, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with friends and family.

Mike is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Fortis. Mike is primarily responsible for overseeing and driving improvements in the investment strategies of the firm as well as working with top tier clients to manage and grow their wealth. As the team continues to grow, Mike also spends time recruiting and training new advisors on how to communicate and improve the investment solutions for clients.
Prior to Fortis, Mike was an Assistant Portfolio Manager for Glacier Peak Capital. Glacier Peak Capital was a registered investment advisor with approximately $190 million in assets under management spread across two discretionary hedge fund portfolios. Mike played a key role in launching Glacier Peak Capital as a spinoff from Summit Capital Group, where he formerly worked as an Equity Analyst. Prior to Summit, Mike was an auditor for Ernst & Young LLP where he earned his CPA designation, specializing in financial statement investigation. He graduated as Valedictorian from University of San Diego.
Outside of work, Mike is active in his church community in NE Seattle, spends time out at his family cabin on Marrowstone Island and loves to travel. Mike resides in Lake Forest Park with his wife, twin girls and son.

Jordan is a dedicated CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with a drive for helping clients create and execute a plan to achieve their unique goals. She believes in the importance of educating clients and empowering them to make informed decisions.
Jordan believes building strong relationships with clients and genuinely getting to know them is a pillar for helping them achieve their financial goals with personalized guidance. Jordan puts to practice that meaningful connections are the foundation for achieving long-term success and financial well-being.
Outside of her professional life, Jordan enjoys staying active and is an avid enthusiast of watersports. She also loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and Australian Shepherds.

Justin is a Wealth Advisor at Fortis. He is responsible for helping business owners and executives navigate complex financial decisions, with a focus on long-term wealth preservation and growth. With a background in mortgage and private wealth management, Justin brings deep expertise in structuring financial solutions that align with clients personal and business goals.
Before joining Fortis, Justin spent 20 years as a mortgage broker, successfully guiding high-net-worth clients through intricate financing strategies. He later transitioned to wealth management, earning his CEPA designation to specialize in exit planning for business owners. His experience includes advising C-level executives on financial strategies and facilitating complex financial service deals.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys golfing, climbing, and spending time in the Pacific Northwest. He has summited Mount Rainier three times and is currently training for another ascent. He lives in the Madrona neighborhood with his wife and two children.

Paul is the CEO of Fortis. Paul's primary focus is to ensure that the Firm remains client focused at all times and helps them to meet their goals. He also oversees strategic planning and overall company direction.
Prior to Fortis, Paul spent nine years at Ernst & Young focusing on financial statement investigation and business valuation (auditing and financial due diligence for private equity firms). He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of San Diego.
Paul is currently on the Board of Divine Alternatives for Dads and the University Kiwanis organization. In his free time, Paul loves to spend time with his wife and kids as well as read.
