WiserAdvisor is excited to announce a new service designed to help you reach
more investors. This new service is designed to allow you, the financial advisor,
the opportunity to educate and inform investors and potential clients on issues
relating to investment, finance and the markets. Not only are we helping you
reach a broader audience by posting material that you have created, but we are
also giving you the opportunity to reach additional leads who are interested in
what you have to say and consequentially might be interested in your services.
This new service is completely free, and can help you increase your lead volume.
Articles take such a short amount of time to create that passing on this opportunity
is like turning away potential clients.

Below are some frequently asked questions relating to WiserAdvisor University:
What is WiserAdvisor University?
WiserAdvisor University is the newest tool from WiserAdvisor. It is designed to
allow advisors to post material that they have written on the internet, and have that
material marketed for them so that they can receive more leads.
What is it designed to do?
The goal of WiserAdvisor University is to help educate and enlighten investors by
presenting material written by financial professionals such as yourself. The University
will be organized in such a way as to allow investors easy access to subjects and articles
of interest to them, and allow them to easily contact advisors they are interested in.
How will it help me reach more leads?
Each article that you submit will contain a link that will enable the investor to submit
a request to be contacted by you. Each investor will already have seen your writing and
will be interested in what you have to say, making the process of converting them into a
client that much easier. Each article you write will be formatted and marketed by
WiserAdvisor’s technical team so that you never have to worry about any logistical issues.
By spending only a brief amount of time writing you will be able to create a new, simple way
to attract more investors. In addition, WiserAdvisor will aggressively market your material
on our sister websites, giving you access to over half a million investors a month,
What does it cost?
This new program can be used with no additional cost to you (normal referral fees apply).
All you have to do is send your articles. We will take care of all the marketing.
Where will you market my material?
Your material will be posted on WiserAdvisor.com, but will also be posted on other
websites we operate. These sites reach over a half million visitors each month, each
seeking information regarding the financial industry. This program is designed to give
your material the greatest reach possible, allowing you to increase the possibility of
gaining new clients.
Once your article has been posted it can also be found through a variety of search engines.
The more relevant and less time-sensitive your article is, the higher it will appear months
from now and the more likely you are to have someone read it. The best part is that once you
send in your article we will take care of all the technical details, allowing you to focus on
educating and guiding your clients.
What can I write about?
WiserAdvisor is giving you the opportunity to write about subjects that are of interest to
you as a financial professional, and which will be of interest to investors using the internet.
While many investors are interested in particular subjects such as investing, finance and the
financial markets, they are also interested in tips and current events facing the industry.
Our suggestion is to write what you think an investor would want to read.
Because we are using this new program to drive internet traffic directly to you (ultimately
sending you a lead), try to create articles that do not involve “self help” topics. Giving
specifics as to how an investor can invest on his or her own will not help you gain a new client.
Make sure that you stress the importance of using a financial advisor as you write.
Articles may not contain contact information, and should be informative rather than serving
as a sales pitch. Refrain from emphasizing yourself or your firm specifically. Such references
will be removed from your article before being posted. Impress investors with your knowledge
of the subject matter rather than discussing you and your firm.
How do I submit articles and what should I include?
If you would like to have your articles posted on WiserAdvisor, send us the file in an email
(cut and paste the article or send it as an attachment) along with your name, WiserAdvisor
email address, a title for the material and a suggested category (e.g. retirement). Make sure
to let us know if the article already appears on other websites, or in printed material.
The following formats will be accepted as attachments: Microsoft Word, PDF.
All other formats can be pasted into the email. HTML, text and Microsoft Word formats work best.

How long should my articles be?
Three to six paragraphs is typical, but there is no maximum or minimum acceptable size,
what matters is that each article communicates useful information. If you feel that one of
your articles covers a broad range of topics or is very long you might want to break the
article into pieces. You can put together a quality article in a very short time frame,
allowing you to gain access to a new source of leads without much effort.
How many articles can I submit?
There is no limit on how many articles you may submit, and on average the more you submit
the more value you’ll receive from the service. Be sure to also send in material that you
might have already written.
Keep in mind that quality is important. The articles that work best are ones written on
subjects that will interest you and your potential clients. Remember that it each article
you write represents a new source of leads, so you can consider not writing an article as
bypassing a chance to easily expand your business.
My firm or broker/dealer writes articles for its advisors. Can I send them in?
WiserAdvisor will accept articles written by member firms provided that the advisor first obtains
permission from the company. If more than one advisor submits the same article, the advisor who
first submits the article will be credited. Make sure to include any necessary disclosure information
with each article.
We encourage all of our advisors to write original material if possible, since this removes the problem
of having to credit advisors for articles written by an advisory company.
What will WiserAdvisor do with the material I send in?
WiserAdvisor will review the articles that you send in, and then post them on the internet
(provided they meet our quality guidelines). We will also include a link to your profile on
WiserAdvisor so that investors can specifically request that you contact them. You simply
provide the material and we’ll do everything else – formatting it, linking, and telling the
world about it.
Will the material be altered in any way?
When submitting an article, make sure that you have reviewed it thoroughly to eliminate spelling
and grammatical errors. Keep in mind that this is the investor’s first impression of you, and
that poor grammar may reduce the chances that they will be interested in becoming a client.
WiserAdvisor staff members will format the articles to ensure that they fit on the page
properly, and will remove specific references to advisors and advisory firms.
Do I have to agree to a new terms and conditions to use this service?
No. The terms and conditions that you agreed to when signing up for WiserAdvisor also apply here.
When will my new article be posted?
It may take some time to format and load your article into the WiserAdvisor University pages,
and we will do it as quickly as we’re able. We thank you in advance for not calling or emailing
to check your material’s status.
