Robert honed his analytical skills during 18 years in the technology industry and then during nine years at Charles Schwab, first as an Investment Specialist and finally as VP Financial Consultant.
While at Schwab, Robert helped craft asset allocation models for over 300 clients with over $300 million in total assets. He also strategized with clients on financial modeling and planning. After nine years at Schwab, Robert founded Carneros Asset Management, successfully building Carneros into a thriving boutique investment firm. In October 2015, Robert merged Carneros with Napa Wealth Management allowing him to focus entirely on working with clients. Utilizing the resources of NWM, Robert works with a select set of clients on a consultative basis, helping them develop a financial planning platform that serves as the basis for their investment strategy.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Robert moved to the Napa/Sonoma area in 2003 to enjoy the natural beauty of Northern California. He can be found biking, skiing or hiking almost every weekend. Together with his wife Lora Blanusa, a physician at Harvest Pediatrics, they manage to find an outdoor activity they can enjoy as a combined family of seven.
