Michael is a hands on advisor who takes great pleasure in running the business, delegating responsibilities to staff, and providing expert guidance to retirees and individuals who are fast approaching retirement. He is committed to providing clients with conservative investment strategies that will help fund a better standard of living during retirement. Just like his clients, Michael believes in the work ethic and knows how important it is to preserve hard-earned dollars.
He started his career in the financial services industry in 1986, branching out to form his own company three years later. Since that time, he has had the privilege of meeting with over 2,500 people who are nearing retirement or already enjoying it. Michael is a State Registered Investment Advisor and Licensed Insurance Professional. Since opening his own firm over 20 years ago, Michael has been on a mission to protect client's capital. Unlike many advisors whom he thinks are mentally stuck in the 1990s with aggressive strategies, Michael specializes in conservative strategies that are likely to provide a steady and reliable return.
Michael is literally always on the move. He took up running 18 years ago and has since completed numerous full and half marathons. Physical fitness and fiscal fitness are both of crucial importance to him.

Prior to joining Peak Capital Management, Erin spent ten years working for Raymond James Financial Services and as an Office Manager and Paralegal for a law firm. She has a talent for working with clients and providing them with superior service. She recently moved to Florida from New Jersey and loves her new home. A lifelong animal lover, she enjoys hiking and nature, museums, and British television.

Although he retired from his firm in 2006, Rich still enjoys helping people with all of their tax preparation needs. Rich has the unique ability of explaining complex tax code in a manner that people can understand. Rich is in charge of our Tax Practice. With 29 years of experience as a partner of a tax firm in Richmond, VA, you can be confident that your tax returns will be handled by a true professional. As a Florida retiree, Rich is not holding back from taking advantage of its wonderful amenities. He likes to spend his time on the water boating and fishing. He is also involved with the The Florida Oceanographic Society.
Carty Burleigh

Carty really enjoys setting up all of the special events we hold during the year. Carty is responsible for scheduling our special events and assisting with seminar activities. She brings her creative energy and attention to detail in all she endeavors. Carty is truly a part of the Peak Capital Management family. As our Event Coordinator, her years of experience in the hospitality industry make our workshops, meetings, and client events educational and a lot of fun. Carty enjoys staying fit by strength training, running, and Latin dance. She is also involved in numerous community services and charitable activities. Her faith is an important part of her life.

Doris recently joined our team and brings with her 20+ years of experience as a business owner in the financial services industries. Over the course of her career, she has worn all the hats needed to run and grow a business. As our Director of Marketing she will focus her expertise to enable us to reach and assist as many families as possible so they can be confident & successful in their retirement investment strategies. Doris' first love is spending time with her family. Whether at home or on some outdoor adventure, there is never a dull moment with her husband, sons and their most recent family additions; their boston terrier and bernadoodle puppies!
