Mr. Capell, CEO of Piermont, has been educating and assisting individuals and families with retirement, financial, & estate planning for over 20 years. He focuses on each client's financial needs, be it capital preservation or growth, income at retirement, and/or tax planning. This process enables us to create a financial plan that works best for you. Even once your financial plan has been created and initiated, we will meet with you periodically to discuss any possible adjustments to your plan and confirm that your goals are being satisfied.

At Piermont Wealth Management, we strongly believe that independent, fee-only advice yields the best financial solutions. It comes from our long-standing philosophy of providing ethical, conflict-free service and placing our clients' needs first. This is why we do not receive a sales commission for our services or try selling a financial product to our clients.

As a fiduciary on our clients' accounts, we are completely independent, objective, and commission-free, and are registered as such with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. As our client, you deserve reliable and trustworthy financial planning services and conflict-free advice.


Why should I choose you as my financial advisor?

I am a certified financial planner and tax/estate planning attorney. I have a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, a Law degree from American University and a Masters in taxation from Pace University.

What are your qualifications? What is your education background?

Your financial needs and goals dictate the financial planning process. Typically, we gather your financial information, tax status, family make-up and create a financial plan that is particular to you. Then, we build and asset allocation and investment strategy that meets with your risk tolerance and financial plans. We use a comprehensive approach to ensure that you are financially protected.

How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services?

We do not sell products. We do not make any commissions. We are completely objective, fee-only advisors. Our fee is calculated calendar quarterly as a percentage against the total value of your accounts managed by Piermont. Our annual average fee is less than 1%.

If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something?

Our clients provide us discretion to manage their accounts.

We work with over 100 families.
