Master Financial Professional (MFP)


Summary:

Demonstrates that an advisor has completed advanced studies in finance, investing, asset and portfolio management, taxes and accounting. Candidates must first have obtained a degree in finance, tax, economics or receive a Master's degree in a financial field. The advisor must also have 3 years of experience in the industry. An examination must also be passed, and the candidate must also sign a code of ethics agreement. Fifteen hours of continued education has to be completed each year.
