Nick found his passion for wealth management at a young age, growing up, his household looked like quite the Brady Bunch...joy and peace permeated throughout the home and, as one of six children, he was always amazed at his parent's ability to provide in abundance. His fondest childhood memories came from the times spent around the dinner table laughing and sharing stories of their day. But that once happy and harmonious life was plagued by the unexpected...his stepfather suffered from health issues that would keep him out of work for nearly a year. This issue, coupled with economic difficulties in the family business, forced his mother to increase her hours at work to keep the family afloat. Despite her efforts, the household of eight couldn't survive on one income and as a result, the picturesque family was no more. His parents would make the difficult decision to divorce.
Like Nick's family, many Americans find themselves navigating unexpected challenges and hardships without a plan. Nick believes that every family deserves financial peace. Nick believes every family deserves to have financial peace.
Nick founded Third Act Wealth Management in 2023 after working with two of the largest firms in the country. He firmly believes that the path to getting what you want in life lies in helping others get what they want. He consistently finished in the top 1% for growth with his prior firm (2018-2022) as a byproduct of serving his clients well.
Third Act Wealth Management was founded by Nick Lalonde in Dallas, TX, in 2023.
While working for more than a decade with business owners and their families, Nick noticed the financial services market was not meeting some of his clients real needs. People have many assets beyond financial success life satisfaction, personal growth, education, business acumen, and so much more.
We believe retirement should be the pinnacle of enjoyment, ongoing growth, and success. Our proprietary approach considers our clients many assets to plot their best path forward.

401K Rollovers
When it comes to rolling over your 401(k) there are four decisions you need to consider. |
Annuities
There can be a time and place for annuities but we tend not to recommend annuities to clients. We do analyze, review and recommend appropriate investments with clients who currently have annuities. Key items to consider, rating of company, annuitization options, titling, beneficiaries, costs, surrender charges, floor guarantees and cost basis among other items. |
Investment Advice & Management
Management of all investment elements to maximize the probability of clients achieving all that is important to them. |
Wealth Management
We offer comprehensive wealth management to high achievers. |
Retirement Planning
We help our clients transition into their Third Act of Life (typically known as retirement). We believe these years are set up to uniquely be your best because of additional time, resources, and modern day medicine. |
Insurance Planning
When it comes to owning insurance you should think through the framework of: What risk do I want to keep and what risk do I want to transfer? We will help you identify what insurance we believe would compliment your financial plan and what risks you should keep. |
Estate Planning & Trusts
Wealth Transfer is a big part of any financial plan regardless of the size of your estate. We will work with your estate planning attorney on strategies that compliment your financial plan. |
Tax Advice and Services
The largest expense for many of American's is taxes! We will work with your CPA or tax professional to identify and implement Tax Mitigation strategies. |
Money Management
It all starts with cash flow. As a business I work with a bookkeeper to understand what money I have coming in and going out. We want to take the same approach for your household. I often find people spend much more than they think. Once we know exactly what your household has coming in and going out we can be very intentional with the decisions we make around your money moving forward. |
Risk Management
Risk management is important for any household. You can have an incredible financial plan and it all be for naught if you haven't considered the risks that could devastate your plan. |
